Zoho Desk Contracts: what it does

Create and manage contracts directly within Zoho Desk.

Zoho Desk's integration with Zoho Contracts brings contract lifecycle management directly into your customer support workflow, closing the gap between signed agreements and the service commitments your team is expected to honour.


What is it


Zoho Contracts is a dedicated Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platform that covers every stage of a contract's life — from authoring and negotiation through e-signature to post-execution management [4]. When connected to Zoho Desk via Zoho Flow, it automates the activation of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) so that the moment a contract becomes active in Zoho Contracts, the corresponding customer account, contact details, and support plan are created in Zoho Desk automatically [7]. This eliminates the manual handoff between legal or sales teams and your support organisation, reducing onboarding delays and the risk of contractual breaches [7].

The integration is configured through Zoho Flow, Zoho's no-code automation platform. Set the trigger event to an SLA becoming active inside Zoho Contracts, then map the resulting actions to create an account, add contact details, and apply the appropriate SLA inside Zoho Desk [7]. On the Zoho Contracts side, navigate to Admin Settings → Contract Types to define contract-type-level defaults and workflows that control what data is passed downstream; general organisation-wide defaults are managed under Admin Settings → General → Contract Settings [5]. For teams that need programmatic control, the Zoho Contracts API allows you to push and pull contract data and integrate with Zoho services or third-party applications directly [3].
