How to Display Zoho Form in Zoho CRM Web Tab

Displaying a Zoho Forms form inside a Zoho CRM Web Tab requires creating a CRM-integrated form and then embedding it as a Web Tab Widget or Web Tab within CRM so it appears as a full-page widget inside CRM[7][2]. Beam Help — independent expert support for Zoho, not official Zoho support[7].

Why this matters

You use this when you want a CRM-integrated form available inside CRM so users can enter Leads, Contacts, Deals, or other module records without leaving the CRM interface[7]. Showing the form in a Web Tab gives a full-page experience similar to a dashboard and keeps your team in one place to capture data[2][7].

Step-by-step

Step 1. Create a CRM-integrated form in Zoho Forms: open Zoho Forms, start a new form, set Form Type to standard or card, and complete the form setup so the integrations tab appears after creation[7].[7]

Step 2. Ensure your Zoho Forms plan supports CRM forms because creating CRM forms is available only on paid plans[7].[7]

Step 3. Map form fields to CRM module fields: while building the form, map each Zoho Forms field to the matching Zoho CRM field; required fields in CRM become mandatory on the form[7].[7]

Step 4. Choose the CRM module to integrate with (for example Leads, Contacts, Accounts, Deals, or any custom module supported by Zoho Forms) and complete the integration in the form's Integrations tab[7].[7]

Step 5. Decide how you will host the form inside CRM: use a Web Tab Widget (a custom Widget displayed as a Web Tab) when you need a full-page custom UI or dashboard-like view inside CRM[2].[2]

Step 6. Build the Web Tab Widget: create a Widget that embeds your form’s URL or the form’s HTML inside the Widget interface so the form loads as the widget content; the finished Web Tab opens as a Web Tab Widget rather than being placed inside a CRM dashboard[2].[2]

Step 7. Add the Web Tab to Zoho CRM: create a Web Tab in CRM and point it to the Widget or to the hosted form URL so users can access the form from CRM’s navigation as a Web Tab[2][7].[2][7]

Step 8. Test the embedded form: open the new Web Tab in CRM, verify the form loads, that required fields behave correctly, and that submissions create records in the selected CRM module according to your field mappings[7][2].[7][2]

Common pitfalls

  • Attempting to create a CRM-integrated form on a free Zoho Forms plan will fail because CRM form creation requires a paid plan[7].[7]
  • Confusing a Dashboard widget with a Web Tab Widget: a Web Tab Widget opens as its own Web Tab and is not automatically placed inside CRM Dashboards, so use the Widget primitive when you need a full-page embedded UI[2].[2]

What to check

  • Confirm the Zoho Forms account is on a paid plan that allows creating CRM-integrated forms[7].[7]
  • Verify each form field is mapped to the correct CRM module field and that required fields are enforced on the form[7].[7]
  • Open the Web Tab in Zoho CRM and submit a test entry to confirm the record is created in the target CRM module and the Widget loads as a Web Tab[2][7].[2][7]
